Project Christmas Blessing 2013 was a blessing to many children in Mexico. Bro. Toney and Sis. Lisette Sanchez, missionaries to Juarez, Mexico, distributed van loads of gift baskets and food to children in Juarez. They also visited the Tarahumara Indians who live in great poverty on the outskirts of Juarez to deliver gifts and share the love of Jesus Christ. They were invited into homes and able to share the story of Jesus.
Villa Juarez, Mexico is home to many migrant agricultural laborers. They work for the landowners and cultivate crops such as tomatoes. Several years ago, Sis. Minerva, a woman with a heart to serve, began reaching out to the children of these families. She began by gathering them together under a tree and teaching them. Today she works in three such communities. Through PCB, Sis. Minerva distributed gifts and provided a Christmas meal to many children in the area.
