Project Christmas Blessing 2018 administered in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, was a phenomenal success! The “Hit the Streets” campaign provided money to purchase and distribute food and hygiene packs to the homeless, orphans, displaced migrants, and the Tarahumara Indians.
Lifetime memories were made with a fabulous group of young people from the U.S. as gift bags and basic necessities were purchased, packed, and distributed in some of the neediest communities in Juarez. Hundreds of gospel tracts in Spanish were put in the packages and many were handed out on the streets.
There were 900 youth backpacks with gifts and school supplies, 100 street packs with items for the homeless, and 320 food boxes and hygiene packs distributed. In addition, over 200 quality coats were given to children in a migrant community.
God gave divine protection and miraculously changed the inclement weather for distribution times. Not only were the local people ministered to spiritually and temporally as instructed by Christ, but also the trip was a faith building experience for the young people who were able to get a broader vision of the work of God. Unity, fellowship, worship, ministry, and joy all went together as this group worked for the Lord. A big thank you to each one who contributed to PCB 2018 to enable this outreach to the poor and lost of Juarez, Mexico.
